Book Summary
This thirteenth-century text was written by Nichiren, founder of the Nichiren school of Buddhism and was translated from the Japanese by Venerable Murano Senchu. Written during Nichiren's exile to Sado Island, it extols the perfection of the Saddharmapundarika Sutra (Lotus Sutra) and critiques the doctrinal approaches of the other major schools of Japanese Buddhism active at that time.
